신약성경을 헬라어 원문과 사본으로 읽고, 그 해석을 강단과 신학교 강의실에서 나누어 왔습니다.
연구 분야
- 성경 사본 본문이 어떤 손을 거쳐 오늘 우리에게 왔는지 살핍니다.
- 헬라어 주해 신약을 헬라어로 읽고 단어와 문장의 결을 따라갑니다.
- 성경 해석 본문이 처음 말한 뜻에서 오늘의 교회로 건너가는 길을 찾습니다.
- 강해설교 주해를 강단의 말씀으로 옮깁니다. 강해 1,504편이 그 열매입니다.
사본 이야기 · 로마서 16:4-7
이 사진에는 바울이 브리스가와 아굴라에게 보낸 문안이 적혀 있습니다. 쪽 맨 위에는 쪽 번호가 있고, 글은 띄어쓰기 없이 대문자로 이어 썼습니다. '그리스도'는 ΧΝ처럼 줄여 쓰고 위에 줄을 그었습니다. 거룩한 이름을 줄여 쓰는 초기 사본의 습관입니다.

신약 본문 연구
뉴올리언스 침례신학교의 H. 밀턴 헤거드 신약 본문 연구소(H. Milton Haggard Center for New Testament Textual Studies)에서 2007년부터 2009년까지 연구원으로 일했습니다. 신약 사본들을 대조하고 검증해 CNTTS 본문 데이터베이스를 쌓는 일과, 사본마다 다른 읽기를 한데 모은 디지털 자료 「신약 비평 장치」(NT Critical Apparatus) 제작에 참여했습니다.
신학교 강의
2013년부터 뉴올리언스 침례신학교(New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary)의 겸임교수로 목회학 석사(M.Div.)와 목회학 박사(D.Min.) 과정에서 사복음서, 바울서신, 요한계시록 과목을 여러 차례 가르쳤습니다. 목회학 박사 논문의 주심 지도와 심사에도 수십 차례 참여했습니다.

현재 미드웨스턴 침례신학교(Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary)의 겸임교수이며, 성경사역학 철학박사(Ph.D.) 논문 지도교수입니다. 주심 지도교수로 박사 두 명을 배출했고, 다른 박사논문 심사위원회에도 부심으로 참여하고 있습니다.

This page carries Paul's greetings to Prisca and Aquila. A page number stands at the top, and the text runs in capitals without spaces. "Christ" is abbreviated as ΧΝ with a line above it, a habit of early manuscripts for sacred names.

New Testament Textual Studies
From 2007 to 2009 Dr. Ahn served as a researcher at the H. Milton Haggard Center for New Testament Textual Studies, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He took part in the collation and verification of New Testament manuscripts for the CNTTS Textual Database and contributed to the NT Critical Apparatus, a comprehensive digital textual resource.

Seminary Teaching
Dr. Ahn has served as Adjunct Professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary since 2013, teaching M.Div. and D.Min. courses on the four Gospels, the Pauline Epistles, and Revelation, and he has served dozens of times as primary advisor and examiner of D.Min. theses.

He is currently Adjunct Professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a dissertation supervisor in its Ph.D. in Biblical Ministry program. As primary advisor he has seen two students through to the Ph.D., and he serves as secondary advisor on other dissertation committees.
